| 10:47 am | Neville slept for 12 hours straight last night. A part of me wondered what was wrong with him when I woke up this morning. But he's fine! He must be going through some sort of a growth spurt. It was really, really nice to get a full eight hours of sleep, myself. |

| 9:38 pm | Private to Friends/Family I wish I could stop reading The Prophet. Neville's got me up all hours of the day and night, and I think these "teething tablets" are nothing more than sugar pills. I hate it when we run out of the good ointment for his gums. My brain doesn't seem to work from the beginning of a sentence to the end of it. I need a good, long nap. Or a good night's sleep, anyway. Perhaps I'll have to leave a couple of bottles in the fridge, and let Frank take over for one night. Just one. A full eight hours of rest would do me a world of good |

| 1:12 am | I'm so very excited for Christmas! At the same time, there's a part of me that fears the let-down once the holiday has finished. I'm not sure what I'll have to look forward to! What's the next, exciting event? New Years? Valentine's? I don't even know. The days seem to be getting longer and longer, even though the daylight is shorter and shorter. I love our tree. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And I love being able to get up in the middle of the night to nurse the baby, and watch it sparkle and glow across the room. But now, it's time to go back to sleep. |

| 9:15 am | Private to Order Members Thank goodness for Friday. It's the best day of the week. The weekends are lovely, because Frank is home and not off working. The excitement of getting to sleep in on the weekends makes Friday perfectly lovely. Now, if only Neville will stay asleep for more than thirty minutes at a time. |

| 10:50 am | [Private] I'm not sure what I think about this Frank and Emmeline business. Neither of us (me or Emmeline) has dated much... well, at all, really... since we've been at school together. Sure, we've had a random snog here or there... at least, I know I have... but dating? And with Frank Longbottom? I'm not sure I like it. What if she likes spending time with him more than with me? What if they end up being attached at the mouth, or worse, other parts? I don't think I could handle it. Not because I like Frank, which I don't, really, but because Emmeline's my best friend. I don't want to lose her over some stupid guy. Even though he's not stupid, he's rather smart and handsome, actually. He's grown up a lot over the last few years, and he looks really good. He's kind, too. Oh my god, I think I do kinda like him. I need to find someone or something else to distract me. [/Private] My Auror Training Application is in. Now all I can do is wait until March to see if I was accepted. Someone do something interesting or distract me for a while. |

| 5:26 pm | Private to Alex I have a problem. I feel a bit silly, it's not really a problem, actually. Anyway, there's this guy who likes my friend Emmeline. And he asked me about her, then asked me to "talk him up" to her. So, I did, sort of. The question is... now what do I do? Am I supposed to go back to the guy and tell him I said something to Emmeline? Is she supposed to go talk to him? Is my part done now? |

| 5:23 pm | I don't think there's such a thing as "too much practice". It's the best, maybe the only way to clear my head. Getting up on that broom and flying around in the cool air... the only problem is when my head's clear is when I get all my best ideas, and then I don't have anywhere to write them down... usually I end up forgetting everything before I hit the ground. If anyone needs me tonight, I'll be in the library working on my essay. |
